We at Papaveria Press are very pleased to announce that we will be republishing the Glastonbury Tarot in a limited edition, with a tentative release date of Winter 2011. First released by Gothic Image Publishers in Europe and by Weiser in the US and Canada in 1999, the cards and book have long been out of print. With original art and text by Lisa Tenzin-Dolma, the deck focuses on the history and mythology of Glastonbury. Lisa’s striking images are ripe with colour and emotive resonance, and the deck has been well-loved by many throughout the years. Papaveria will re-release the cards with an accompanying booklet following in our tradition of producing fine objects by hand, working closely with Lisa to produce an edition that will reflect the mythic landscape from which these cards were born. We are very pleased to be working with Lisa to bring this beautiful deck back into the world.
